John is our senior tech and has been with us since 2010. He is an exceptional tech and takes customer service to the next level. He is very excited to have been recognized and really has made a huge impact to our growth. Congratulations John!

John Gilbert is the quintessential outstanding service professional. Our company will celebrate 50 years of business in February 2024; John is the best service professional I’ve ever had. His ability to handle adversity is shown by his willingness to do whatever it takes to care for his customers. The great thing about John being so good at customer relations is that it is just a natural extension of who he is. When not at work, John spends countless hours rescuing dogs, mowing neighbors’ yards at no cost to them, and volunteering at his church. His leadership abilities are such that he was promoted to our Senior Technician position in 2015. John is the benchmark when it comes to using the tools and chemicals of the trade safely; he does everything by the book. From picking up new pest control starts to taking out the trash in the office, John just always says “yes,” taking the initiative to get the job done and done well. I can’t imagine a more deserving person for this award than John Gilbert.
Jennifer Emerson
The Tennessee Pest Control Association’s (TPCA’s) Rising Star Award recognizes women have shown exceptional promise and made a significant impact for their company. The recipient of this award will be an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:
